Hunter Edward Kay, 21, of Pemberton Drive, Trumbull, is charged with driving under the influence.
Police said Kay hit a tree on Lincoln Street in September 2012 and was arrested by warrant. His blood was tested for alcohol, leading to the charge, police said.
He is free on a written promise to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court.
