Tanaeja Shawnise Holmes, 18, of Anthony Street, Bridgeport, is charged with second-degree breach of the peace and third-degree assault.
Police said Holmes and another person had a dispute at Forever 21 and Holmes shoved her.
Holmes was released on a written promise to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court.
