Robert W. Underhill, 49, of Rocky Hill Road, is charged with interfering with a 911 call, disorderly conduct and third-degree assault, DUI, engaging in pursuit and failure to obey a stop sign.
Police said Underhill assaulted a woman and drove off. He was later stopped and administered field sobriety tests, police said.
The alleged victim said Underhill threatened to kill her and hung up a 911 call, police said.
He is free on bonds totaling $15,000 for appearances in Bridgeport Superior Court.
