Nicholas Getsos Tucker, 24, of Canoe Brook Road, is charged with traveling unreasonably fast, DUI and driving with an obstructed view.
Police said Tucker rear-ended another car on Nov. 30 on Church Hill Road. He failed field sobriety tests and had ice on his windshield, police said.
His blood-alcohol content was tested at 0.199 and 0.169, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08.
His bond was set at $5,000 for an appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.
