Heber Alonzo Meraz, 44, of Midland Road, is charged with risk of injury to a minor, disorderly conduct and second-degree threatening.
Police said a fight led to Meraz kicking objects and making threats while minors were nearby.
His bond was set at $1,000 for an appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.
