
A Bridgeport man has been charged with a burglary on Cedar Crest Road.
Jahmari Zavon Campbell, 24, Sunshine Circle, is charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny.
"On Tuesday, Sept. 24, Trumbull Police responded to a burglary on Cedar Crest Road. Through a forensic examination of the scene and evidence collection, Trumbull Detectives were able to collect valuable evidence," said Trumbull Deputy Police Chief Michael Harry.
"In cooperation with the West Haven Identification and Crime Scene Unit, Trumbull lead detective, Rocco Testi, was able to identify the perpetrator," police said.
"The following Monday, Sept. 30, members of the Trumbull Detective Bureau obtained a search/seizure warrant as well as an arrest warrant for the suspect and his home. Most items from the Trumbull burglary were recovered at the scene of the search," according to police.
