Stripped Car
Nicholas Chiarantano, 25, of Barnum Terrace, is charged with third-degree larceny, tampering with a motor vehicle without permission and interfering.

Police said he turned himself in March 25 on a warrant regarding a car that had been stolen from Bowtie Cinemas in 2012 and was later found stripped in Stratford. He also gave officers false information, police said.
His bond was set at $5,000.

Driving With Alleged Prescription Drugs
Jeffrey Migliore, 53, of Evers St., Bridgeport, is charged with failure to keep drugs in their original container, driving without a license, misuse of a license plate and driving an unregistered motor vehicle.
Police said officers stopped Migliore on March 25 and found a green pill on the floor and a bottle of 23 pills later determined to be OxyContin.
His bind was set at $2,500.
Another motor vehicle stop led to the arrest of Melissa Smith, 41, of Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, is charged violating a protective order. Police said she was in a car with a man she was banned from seeing.
Her bond was set at $2,500.
Alleged Credit Card Theft
Cortney Fleming, 29, of Booth Street, Bridgeport, is charged with credit card theft, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit illegal use of a credit card.
Police said Fleming was working in Macy's Feb. 8 and took a customer's credit card. She then allegedly gave it to a friend who bought items totalling $205 and a $200 gift card.
The store informed the cardholder of the purchases. Fleming turned herself in March 22 and is free on a written promise to appear in court.
Sunglasses at Night
A man allegedly wearing sunglasses at night was stopped and charged with driving under the influence.
Anothony Sotter, 45, of Wheeler Road, Monroe, is also charged with failure to obey a traffic signal.
Police said Sotter was driving erratically on Daniels Farm Road March 23. His blood-alcohol content was tested at 0.183 and 0.177, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08.
Sotter was released on a written promise to appear in court.
