A second man is charged marking down prices at JCPenny to $1 and leaving the store with the merchandise.
Davide Anthony Leckey, 20, of Tremont Avenue, Bridgeport, is charged with fourth-degree larceny.
Police said Leckey was nabbed as he walked out his car with the merchandise. Leckey and an accomplice took items on several occasions in August and September.
The merchandise totaled about $1,140.
Leckey was released on a written promise to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court.
