Trumbull Day 2024 Details Announced

TRUMBULL, CT — Town officials recently announced details for Trumbull Day 2024, a fun-filled family event with food, vendors, carnival rides and games, children's entertainment, music, fireworks and more.

According to the town website, Trumbull Day festivities will be held on the field behind Hillcrest Middle School beginning Friday, June 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and continue on Saturday, June 29 from 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., closing with a fabulous fireworks display.

The carnival rain date is Sunday, June 30 from 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., which will only take place if Saturday is canceled. The fireworks rain date is also Sunday, June 30.

Fireworks will be held at Trumbull High School, weather permitting. They will start at dusk about 45 minutes after sunset, likely at 9 p.m., however there is no set time.

Admission is free, and parking is available at Trumbull High School and Hillcrest Middle school. Attendees can bring folding chairs and blankets to watch the fireworks.

Beer and wine sales close at 9:30 p.m. Food truck vendors (with few exceptions) accept credit/debit cards.

If a child is shorter than 48 inches, an adult will need to ride with them on some rides. No pets, except service animals, are allowed.

No backpacks, large bags, coolers, food or beverages are allowed, and bags are subject to inspection. Smoking is not allowed.
