Trumbull Election 2025 Voter Guide: Candidates, Polling Places

TRUMBULL, CT — On Nov. 4, Trumbull residents cast their votes for several key municipal positions in town. Here's everything you need to know about upcoming municipal election.

Early voting details

Early voting begins Oct. 20 and runs through Nov. 2. Early voting hours are: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on October 28 and 30.

If you are not registered, but want to vote during the early voting period, you may register in person every day of Early Voting at the early voting location. To find your Early Voting location, visit MyVote.CT.gov or call 860-509-6200.

The deadline to register to vote is Friday, Oct. 17. If you register by mail, it must be postmarked by that date. The deadline for voter registration at the DMV is by close of business on Oct. 17, and the deadline for voter registration online is by 11:59 pm also on Oct. 17.

Same day voter registration

If you are not registered, but want to vote on Election Day, you may register in person on Election Day at your Election Day Registration site People must be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote using Election Day registration.

Absentee ballot information

To receive your absentee ballot, complete and sign an application and return it to your Town Clerk, or you can request an absentee ballot online.

Election Day polling hours and locations

Polls in Connecticut are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. You can use the Secretary of State’s website to find your polling place. Voters who are in line by 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

First Selectman, Vote for One:

The Democratic candidate is Vicki Tesoro, and the Republican candidate is Mark Block.


Town Clerk, Vote for One:

The Democratic candidate is Mary Markham, and the Republican candidate is Katie Miller-Creagh.


Treasurer, Vote for One:

The Democratic candidate is Anthony Musto, and the Republican candidate is Justin Scheuble.


Board of Finance, Vote for Up to Three:

The Democratic candidates are Lainie McHugh, Nathan Tinker and Massimo Mallozzi, and the Republican candidates are David Pia, Chris Carrena and Christopher Lenzen.


Board of Education, Four to be Elected, Not More Than Two from One Party, Vote for Up to Four:

The Democratic candidates are Lisa Nuland, Stacey Hepburn-James, Scott Wich and Wendy Shambra, and the Republican candidates are Bob Gerbert, Paul Plouffe, Marie Petitti and Tammy McGee.


Board of Assessment Appeals, Vote for One:

The Democratic candidate is Raymond Baldwin, and the Republican candidate is JC Cinelli.


Planning & Zoning, Five Year Term Begins 2025, Vote for One:

The Democratic candidate is Tony Silber, and the Republican candidate is Rich Croll.


Planning & Zoning, Five Year Term Begins 2026, Vote for One:

The Democratic candidate is Dean Fabrizio, and the Republican candidate is Rich Deecken.


Zoning Board of Appeals, Five Year Term Begins 2025, Vote for One:

The Democratic candidate is Matt Broder, and the Republican candidate is Kevin McGee.


Zoning Board of Appeals, Five Year Term Begins 2026, Vote for One:

The Democratic candidate is Nancy Walkley.


Constables, Vote for Up to Two:

The Democratic candidates are David Kayne and Nathaniel Gross, and the Republican candidates are Patricia Kelly and Raymond Luvara.


Town Council District 1, Vote for Up to Three:

The Democratic candidates are Steven Spillane and Mary Isaac, and the Republican candidates are Mike Buswell and Mike Colohan.


Town Council District 2, Vote for Up to Three:

The Democratic candidates are Jennifer Winschel and Bill Mecca, and the Republican candidates are Jayne Sarris and Ann Sather.


Town Council District 3, Vote for Up to Three:

The Democratic candidates are Jason Marsh and Christine El Eris, and the Republican candidates are Veronica Lenzen and Rich Wolf.


Town Council District 4, Vote for Up to Three:

The Democratic candidates are Ashley Gaudiano and Caryn Kaufman, and the Republican candidates are Anthony Dorsey and Carl Massaro.


Town Council District 5, Vote for Up to Three:

The Democratic candidates are Matt Dunn and Tom Broderick, and the Republican candidates are John Foreman and Joe Pifko.


Town Council District 6, Vote for Up to Three:

The Democratic candidates are Kelly Mallozzi and Joy Colon, and the Republican candidates are Chris Pettinella and Brian Walsh.


Town Council District 7, Vote for Up to Three:

The Democratic candidates are Jerrod Ferrari and Nikki Satin, and the Republican candidates are Tony Scinto and Lorraine Wojchik.


Additionally, Trumbull residents will vote "yes" or "no" on the following question:

"Shall the $27,115,000 appropriation and bond authorization for the planning, design and construction of a new Senior/Community Center be approved?"
