With one ambulance that is aging, Trumbull EMS Executive Director Joe Laucella is looking to trade up.
"We're going to try a Sprinter-style Ambulance. It's affordable. It's practical," Laucella said.
The Sprinter is smaller than a traditional box-style ambulance but larger than a van, according to Laucella.

Trumbull EMS is particularly busy because Trumbull has doctors' offices, senior housing, senior daycare and convalescent homes. The old ambulance would become a spare, Laucella said.
