Trumbull Fire Marshal: Burn Ban in Effect

Trumbull has renewed its ban on open burning because of dry conditions.
"Our office has enforced that no open burning is allowed until the conditions improve. If the warning is at a high, very
high or extreme, you are banned from burning even if you have a local
burn permit," said Senior Deputy Fire Marshal Alex Rauso. "As we receive rain, conditions may only improve for a single day or maybe a few. Once the sun comes back out and we get a little breeze, the conditions quickly become poor again."
