Trumbull First Selectman's Golf Classic Raises $45,500
Since its inception, the golf classic has donated more than $500,000 in support of Trumbull students, according to town officials.
TRUMBULL, CT — The 2023 First Selectman's Golf Classic raised over $45,000 to support various student organizations in Trumbull, town officials announced Thursday.
According to the town website, First Selectman Vicki Tesoro presented checks totaling $45,500 to various organizations that support band, academic teams and athletic programs during the Oct. 24 meeting of the Board of Education.
Since its inception, the First Selectman's Golf Classic has donated more than $500,000 in support of Trumbull's students, according to town officials.

Tesoro thanked the sponsors, donors, golfers, businesses, students and parents for their continued support of the tournament, a sold-out event that features golfing, camaraderie, prizes and great food.
Next year's tournament is scheduled for Aug. 12, 2024.
