Library officials noted last year's inaugural fair was a resounding success, attracting over 500 attendees from across Fairfield County who connected with 26 different community groups and organizations.
The Trumbull Library is eager to build on that momentum by welcoming an even greater variety of non-profits and potential volunteers this year, according to the library.
Non-profit organizations interested in participating are encouraged to apply for a table by April 1. Space is limited to 20 exhibitors, and tables will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the library.
Participation is free of charge. Some priority will be given to groups that actively support teen and college student volunteerism through official service credit programs, according to the library.
More information about the event, including how to apply for a table, is available here. Those interested can contact Adult Services Coordinator Elizabeth Adams at eadams@trumbull-ct.gov.
"The Trumbull Library looks forward to bringing together organizations and volunteers to strengthen community bonds and promote civic engagement," the release reads. "Whether you are a student seeking service hours, a working adult looking for flexible volunteer opportunities, or a senior hoping to stay active in the community, this event will help you find the right fit."
