Trumbull Nichols FD Announces Newly Promoted Officers

TRUMBULL, CT — The Nichols Fire Department in Trumbull has announced a new assistant chief and captain following two recent promotions.

In a Facebook post Thursday, Nichols officials said Past Captain Joe Clark has been promoted to the role of assistant chief and Past Captain Billy O'Keefe III has been promoted to captain.

Nichols officials also noted Clark and O'Keefe's promotions were "well-deserved" and asked Trumbull residents to join them in celebrating both men.

"Their dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving our community make them invaluable to our department," Nichols officials said on Facebook. "Thank you both for your hard work—our community is safer because of you!"
