Trumbull PD Announces School Resource Officer Program at Trumbull High School

Officer Blake Petty will serve as the SRO for Trumbull High School.

The Trumbull Police Department is pleased to announce that we are establishing the School Resource Officer, SRO, program in the Trumbull High School this school year. We look forward to enhancing our trusting relationship with the youth in the school system. Chosen as the Trumbull High School SRO is Officer Blake Petty.

Officer Petty recently graduated from a national SRO training program in August. Officer Petty has been a member of the Trumbull Police Department for eight years. He has been a Field Training Officer for the Department since September of 2014 and a member of the Police Bicycle Patrol Team since September of 2015. Officer Petty graduated from Fairfield University, with honors, in 2006 and has begun his Master’s
Degree studies with American University.
