Trumbull Police Celebrate Officer For 30 Years Of Service

Police said the officer began his career with the Trumbull Police Department in February 1995 and served until April 2025.

TRUMBULL, CT — Trumbull police recently honored an officer for his 30-year career with the department.

In a Facebook post Tuesday, police said Officer Robert Capone began his career with the department Feb. 27, 1995, and served the community until April 13, 2025.

According to police, Capone has faithfully served the town with honor and distinction in the department's Patrol Division as a patrol and communication officer.

"The department would like to thank [Capone] for his dedicated service and wish him the best of luck and health as he starts this next chapter of his life," police sad on Facebook.
