Trumbull police Tased an Ansonia man who allegedly fled after he was accused of shoplifting.
Nelson Perez, 42, of Lester Street, is charged with interfering with police and sixth-degree larceny.

Police said Perez fled from Kohl's on Hawley Lane before officers stopped him. He pulled out of his sweater and jacket before officers Tased him, police said.
Perez was wearing two pairs of jeans under his own, and he had stolen $232 in merchandise, police said.

His bond was set at $1,000.
Accused of Filling Her Purse
A Milford woman was also accused of shoplifting.
Rebecca Lee Schwartz, 24, of Broadway, is charged with sixth-degree larceny.
Police said she entered a Lord & Taylor dressing room with merchandise and an empty purse, and she emerged with a full purse. The tags were found in the dressing room and the clothing had holes where the security clips had been, according to police.
The merchandise was valued at $193.
Schwartz was released on a written promise to appear in court.
