Trumbull Pool Undergoing Renovations Expected To Reopen This Summer: Town
The pool has been undergoing renovations since the fall and is currently expected to reopen this summer, according to the town.
TRUMBULL, CT — The Tashua Pool is expected to reopen this summer after months of ongoing renovations, town officials recently announced.
According to the town website, renovations at the pool began in September 2024 following a seasonal closure.
Construction is currently underway and the pool is anticipated to reopen in July. Further updates will be provided as work gets closer to completion, town officials said.

Trumbull is investing in a comprehensive upgrade of this high-use, multigenerational facility, supported by a combination of bond funding and $850,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) allocations, according to the town.
The project includes improvements to the main pool, restrooms, dressing rooms and concession areas, all of which had exceeded their useful life, town officials said.

Additionally, the former children’s pool is being converted into a splash pad, providing a safer and more engaging space for younger swimmers, according to the town.
Tashua Pool serves hundreds of residents each summer and is also a key location for swim instruction programs that help young children build confidence in the water and promote lifelong water safety skills, town officials said.
This investment ensures the facility remains safe, functional, and accessible for years to come, according to the town.
