Trumbull Rep. Rutigliano Honors Mock Trial Team

(Taken from a press release) State Rep. Dave Rutigliano (R-123) honored the Trumbull High School Mock Debate Team this morning on their recent state championship victory.

“Winning the state championship was amazing,” said Social Studies teacher and mock trial coach Eric August.  “I am so proud of these kids for all their hardwork and determination.”

“This is an incredibly talented and bright group of kids,” said Rutigliano.  “It was a real honor to sit down and talk about their experience.  They are a great example to our town and a true testament to hard work paying off.”

Rep. Rutigliano presented a citation from the Connecticut General Assembly acknowledging all of the hard work and great accomplishment of the championship team.

“It was really a great experience meeting with Representative Rutigliano and receiving the Citation from the State of Connecticut.  The kids truly appreciate the gesture by the State of Connecticut and hope to do the state proud at Nationals in May.”
