
Greenwich Police have hired five new officers who were sworn in at a Town Hall Ceremony Monday.
The new officers are:
- Daniel J. Corcoran, of Canton, who graduated in 2012 Central Connecticut State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice/geographical information science. He also is a 2010 graduate of Tunxis Community College with an associate’s degree in criminal justice. He worked as a public safety supervisor for the IPC International Corp. in Farmington, and has certifications in CPR and AED.
- Matthew A. Costella, of Bethel, graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2012. Before his appointment, he worked as a relocation accounting analyst in Danbury. He also has worked as a lifeguard and weight room staff at the YMCA of Brookfield.
- Frank R. Eisenach-Fedak, of Trumbull, is a 2012 graduate of Iona College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in education. He worked as a teacher in the Bronx teaching religion and physical education.
- Andrew A. Greco, of Riverside, is a 2011 cum laude graduate of the University of Connecticut bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology with a minor in history. He has worked in commercial real estate as a director of sales and was the owner/operator of a property maintenance company. He also is a member of the Cos Cob Fire Police Patrol and has recently completed Fire I and Hazmat Operations certifications.
- Casey R. Hutchings, of Ridgefield, is a 1999 graduate of Fordham University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics. He is a former equity trader for AMR Capital in Manhattan who resigned from his position to be a stay-at-home father to his newborn son, who is now 2 years old.
