Trumbull Road To Close For Sanitary Sewer Force Main Replacement Work
Trumbull's Sanitary Sewer Force Main Replacement project is scheduled to begin this month, during which a road in town will be closed.
TRUMBULL, CT — Work on the town's Sanitary Sewer Force Main Replacement project is scheduled to begin the week of July 22.
According to the town website, work will begin at 1980 Old Town Road and proceed easterly to the intersection of Old Town Road and Red Oak Road in Bridgeport.
Construction is anticipated to be completed in the fall, weather permitting.

The road will be completely closed to traffic between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. A detour plan can be viewed here.
According to town officials, "Option 1" of the plan will be implemented. As project progresses, alternate detours may be utilized, labeled as "Option 2."

All emergency vehicles and school busses will be allowed to pass at all times.
