Trumbull Stash House Boutique Owner Busted on Larceny Charges

The owner of Stash House Boutique, whose three stores in Milford, Trumbull and Waterbury all closed last year, is accused of ripping off customers.

Pasquale Francesco Federici, 34, of Roosevelt Avenue, Stratford, is charged with:

• two counts of third-degree larceny
• fourth-degree larceny
• four counts of fifth-degree larceny
• two counts of sixth-degree larceny.

Trumbull police said Wednesday that Federici's businesses bought and sold rare shoes. In some cases, he allegedly underpaid sellers or took money from buyers and never delivered the shoes.

He took thousands of dollars from customers, police said. In some cases, he sold shoes, mainly sneakers, from $150 to $400, and in one case he took $1,500 from a customer and never delivered the shoes.

Customers came from all over the state.

Police said most of the incidents took place in late 2012, about the time the stores closed. They opened in 2011.

All the charges relate to Trumbull, police said, and right now there are no warrants from Milford or Waterbury police.

Federici is free on $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court March 19.
