Trumbull to Weigh Medical Marijuana Moratorium

Trumbull's Planning and Zoning Commission wants a year's moratorium on applications for medical marijuana businesses.

If the panel approves the moratorium, the town joins at least two other communities, Ansonia and Shelton. The commission meets Oct. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall.

A moratorium would give the town a year to digest the recently-approved state medical marijuana laws. It means that no application for such a business would be reviewed or acted upon.
