The annual UNICO fundraising event, which honors local heroes in the motto of “Service above Self,” according to the traditions of the UNICO organization will be held Thursday, May 23rd 6:30 PM Tashua Knolls Country Club, 40 Tashua Knolls Lane, Trumbull.
This event will award 7 scholarships to students in the area and honor Community Servants who have gone above & beyond in their assistance to improve the livelihoods for those in our area.
Past honorees of the event have included Dr. Frank Scifo of St.Vincents Hospital, John DeMarco of Luigi’s pasties. In addition a portion of the proceeds from this event are raised for the “Swim across the Sound” foundation.
