Valentine Critters for Teens & Tweens.  Tues. Feb. 12, 4 - 4:45pm.  Create several of these adorable magnetic Valentine’s Day message critters to stick on your friends’ lockers! Write your own little personal message for each one. Registration required.

Not-to-Be Missed Messy Mystery Craft Program (Grades K-5).  Mon. Feb. 11, 4 -4:45pm. 

What will you create? What will you hear? Who knows; but it will be fun! Join your library friends for this monthly program.  Register.  Trumbull residents. 

 

Storytime for 2's.  Tues. Feb. 12, 9:30am – 10am.  Toddlers bring your caregivers! Stories, music and fun.  Children or caregivers from Trumbull.  Register. 

 

Storytime for 2 1/2 - 3 Years Old.  Tues. Feb. 12, 10:30 - 11am & Wed. Feb. 13, 9:30 – 10am.  Eye-catching books, fingerplays, music, and a themed craft make for a wonderful learning experience for our young pre-readers and their caregivers. Children or caregivers from Trumbull. Register. 

 

Pre K Storytime. Tues. Feb. 12, 11 - 11:30am. An addition to our storytimes just for those children that will be entering kindergarten in the fall.  Sharing books and songs has never been so fun!  Child or caregiver from Trumbull.  Register.

Baby Cafe - 6 months to 2 years.  Wed. Feb. 13 & Thurs. Feb. 14, 11-11:30am.  Baby's first introduction to the library! Babies and caregivers can expect a jam-packed session of rhythm and rhymes guaranteed to enchant our littlest explorers.  Drop in. 

 

Fairchild Nichols Branch

 

Branch Adult Event:  Birds and Bird Watching in Winter, with the CT Audubon Society!  Sat. Feb. 9, 11am – 12:15pm.  Discover which birds are around locally in winter, how to attract them, and how to recognize them!  Presentation inside; then go outside to see if we can spot some!!!   Wear warm clothes and walking shoes.  Binoculars supplied, or bring your own.  Space limited, register!  Free. Refreshments. 

 

Storytime for 4 year olds at Fairchild-Nichols.  Tues. Feb. 12, 10:15 - 10:45am.  Join us every Tuesday @ 10:15 for toe tapping music, mesmerizing stories, and a craft that will blow your socks off!   Caregivers are asked to remain in the Children's Services area. Trumbull residents. 

 

Hearts a Flutter @ Fairchild-Nichols Branch Ages 6-9.  Wed. Feb. 13, 4:30 - 5:30pm.  Come join us for hearts of fun as we create a Valentine craft to take home. Trumbull residents.  Registration required.

Advanced Email: Beyond the Basics.  Wed. Feb. 20, 10 - 11:30am.  For people who already send, and receive email. This lecture-demonstration session will explain how to create an address book, how to send attachments, and how to create folders.  Please register.

Animals are Amazing on Beavers @ Fairchild-Nichols Branch Ages 5+.  Tues. Feb. 19, 11- 12pm.  Did you ever realize how fascinating beavers truly are???  Laura Sherif invites you and your children to find out.  Come see a beaver lodge up close and find out why we rely so heavily on them to take care of our environment.  Registration required.  Trumbull residents only.
