Why are you seeking this office?
I love our town! I'm committed and motivated to serve all of our residents as their representative.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
The cost of living. I will continue to be fiscally responsible in the budget process and try to find other sources of funding.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Some of the differences maybe my life experiences I have always been in a field that was customer service oriented whether it was a store or municipal office. I am by nature a problem solver. I have also volunteered extensively when my children were in school and continue to volunteer in many organizations that benefit our community.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
I will continue to listen to the concerns of our residents and bring forward any new ideas or improvements they would like to see.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Since my election to the Town Council in 2019, I believe we have achieved a lot, but there is still much more to accomplish! I will continue to apply my inclusive leadership style, municipal experience, and negotiation skills to navigate obstacles and challenges faced by the Town Council.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
During my career I obtained the Certified Connecticut Municipal Assessor and Collector designations. I have since retired and would love to continue to serve the Town of Vernon’s citizens, young and old, as their Town Council member.
