Display Case With Knives Stolen From Vernon Gas Station Store
Vernon police are looking for a man who took knives that were for sale at a local store.

VERNON, CT — A thief is at large after taking knives that were for sale at a gas station convenience store, police said.
The incident took place at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
A man wearing a bight two-tone blue shirt, a black baseball cap and dark-colored jeans entered the Shell gas station on Route 30 and stole approximately 20 knives, along with the display case they were in, police said.

He then fled the scene in what appeared to be a dark-colored Nissan sedan that is missing its front bumper, police said.
The man and getaway car were captured on store surveillance cameras.
