Honda Driver Facing Felony Charge After Road Rage Gun Incident In Vernon: Police
A gun was flashed during a road rage incident in Vernon, police said.

VERNON, CT — The driver of a black Honda is accused of threatening another driver with a gun in Vernon over the weekend during a road rage incident, police said.
At 6:33 p.m. Sunday, Vernon officers were dispatched to the area of Reservoir Road for a threatening complaint. A 911 caller said a man driving a black Honda Civic had brandished a gun during a road rage incident, according to an arrest report.
The Honda had a registration plate with only BD-9 showing, according to an arrest report.

The Honda was traced back to 23-year-old Vernon resident Drew Banning, who was arrested shortly after the incident and charged with first-degree threatening with a firearm, first-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree breach of peace.
Banning was held overnight on a $50,000 bond, according to an arrest report. His bail was reduced to $20,000 at his arraignment Monday, which he posted. He is to return to court on Oct. 20, judicial system records show.
