VERNON, CT — The Hockanum Valley Community Council, in collaboration with the town of Vernon, is offering free, drop-in support groups exclusively for Vernon residents as part of its "Connection Beats Addiction" opioid support program.
This partnership aims to "provide welcoming spaces where participants can find connection, share experiences, and receive compassionate support."
The groups are designed for anyone impacted by the opioid crisis, including those grieving the loss of loved ones and friends and family supporting someone struggling with opioid use. No pre-registration is required—just show up and take a step toward healing.
