The National Weather Service has also issued an advisory for Thursday. Here are the latest weather updates.

NORTHERN CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, with winds 15 to 30 mph and gusts up to 50 mph possible.

Some snow and rain is forecast to fall late Wednesday, which will become all snow after midnight, according to the weather service. An inch or two of snow accumulation is possible before the precipitation tapers off late Thursday morning. It looks to be pretty unsettled next week, with snow and rain in the forecast Monday through Wednesday.

Tonight: Snow, possibly mixed with rain, becoming all snow after midnight. Low around 33. South wind 9 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Thursday: Snow likely before 10am, then a chance of snow showers, mainly between 10am and 3pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 40. Breezy, with a southwest wind 9 to 14 mph becoming west 19 to 24 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 47 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 25. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 32. Northwest wind 11 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
