Man Facing Charges After Vernon Incident
The 22-year-old East Hartford man allegedly threatened to burn down an apartment and kill a woman.
A 22-year-old East Hartford man is facing several charges after an incident with a woman at her Vernon apartment, reports the Journal Inquirer.
Trey Pinkston allegedly threw the woman’s phone, hit her, threw something at her, began to choke her, stabbed holes in a door with a kitchen knife, lit some items on fire, and threatened to burn down the apartment and kill the woman.

He was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, reckless burning, second-degree breach of peace, violating a protective order, second-degree assault, third-degree assault, second-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree strangulation, and second-degree threatening.
