Union Church, in partnership with Jacob's Well Christian Coffeehouse, will host an evening of acoustic worship and stories led by Mark Lee and David Glenn on Saturday, April 22. The event will be held in the beautiful 600-seat, circa 1890 sanctuary located at 3 Elm Street in the historic Rockville section of Vernon. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the event begins at 7 p.m. Admission is free. Dress is casual.

Lee has been encouraging people through stories and songs nearly his entire life. In 1991, he started the popular Christian band Third Day with his high school friend Mac Powell. He played lead guitar and wrote many of the band's signature songs, including “Show Me Your Glory,” “Sky Falls Down,” “Alien” and “Wire."

Over the decades, Third Day performed thousands of concerts across the United States, Europe, Australia, South America and Africa. The band received four Grammy awards, an American Music Award, and numerous Gospel Music and ASCAP Songwriter awards. In 2018, Third Day concluded with a Farewell Tour. Since then, Lee has been touring churches across the country, performing with fellow Christian artist David Glenn, who is also a gifted singer, songwriter, guitarist and worship leader.
