Marquis Laughlin to perform "John's Gospel" on May 5

Only currently scheduled performance in New England

Marquis Laughlin returns to Vernon for another dramatic one-man presentation of Scripture. On May 5, he will be acting portions of the Gospel of John chapters 1-20 in two 45-minute sets.

Jacob’s Well Christian Coffeehouse will feature a dramatic one-man play version of John’s Gospel by Marquis Laughlin on Friday, May 5. Doors open at 7 pm and the performance starts at 7:30 pm. This event will be held in The Oasis, the cozy renovated 1800s storefront adjacent to Union Church, 3 Elm Street in the historic Rockville section of Vernon. Admission is free and open to the public. Dress is casual.

Based in Pittsburgh, Laughlin is the founder of Acts of the Word Ministries, a non-profit, non-denominational ministry dedicated to transforming people’s lives through the words of the Bible. He maintains an active touring schedule at theaters, conferences and houses of worship. His shows have been presented all over the world, including the Forum of Trajan in Rome, Italy and the Hampton Court Mid-Summer Festival in Hereford, England.

Laughlin's current tour has brought him to Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
