MLK Day Trash Collection Changes Announced In Vernon
Trash and recycling pickups in Vernon will be affected by the MLK holiday.
VERNON, CT — The Vernon Public Works Department will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Trash and recycling will not be collected on that day, but will instead be picked up the following day — on Tuesday, Jan. 21 — along with that day's normal collection.
