Pedestrian Seriously Hurt In Collision With Vehicle In Vernon
A pedestrian was seriously hurt in a collision with a vehicle in a busy area of Vernon Tuesday night.
VERNON, CT — A pedestrian was seriously hurt in a collision with a vehicle in a busy area of Vernon Tuesday night.
At 8:41 p.m., Vernon Police responded to the incident in the area of 1270 Hartford Turnpike and encountered an "adult male" lying in the road. Vernon EMS and Vernon fire crews responded to the scene to provide medical treatment to the man, who was subsequently transported to Hartford Hospital with serious injuries, according to an incident report.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene and is cooperating with
the investigation, according to an incident report.
