Recount In Vernon Town Council Race On Tap For Thursday

VERNON, CT — A mandatory vote recount is scheduled for Thursday in Vernon. The recount affects just the close Town Council race.

It is scheduled for noon at the Center 375 Gym on Hartford Turnpike. Members of the public may observe the proceedings, but strict distance rules will be in place for spectators and pictures.

The recount includes both the machine-counted votes and absentee ballots, local registrars said.
