Rockville Athletes Win State Title At CIAC Indoor Track Championships
Four members of a boys relay team captured an individual event championship for the Rams.
NEW HAVEN, CT — A relay team from Rockville High School brought home a state title for the Rams at the CIAC Class M indoor track and field championships Thursday at the Floyd Little Athletic Center.
The 1,600 meter sprint relay team of William Davis, Devant Bariffe, Otavio Pinto and Emmett Kristoff won its race, covering the mile distance in 3:39.59.
The Rams compiled 30 points to place third of 24 teams which scored points. Lyman Hall had a whopping 110 points to win the team championship for the second straight year.
