Rockville High School Swimmer Wins State Class LL Title

She was one of two RHS swimmers on the podium Tuesday night.

VERNON, CT — A swimmer from Rockville High School who competes on the Manchester Co-op team won a state class title Tuesday at the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference LL meet at Wesleyan University.

RHS senior Jocelyn Niemczyk took the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:03.62. Glastonbury High School senior Annika Paluska was second at 1:03.94.

Niemczyk anchored the co-op's 400-yard freestyle relay team that took second in Class LL with a time of 2:38.45. RHS sophomore Natalia Harnois swam the third leg.
