Shah's Bringing Queens Royalty To Vernon Circle International Lineup
The Vernon Circle area has a stacked international culinary lineup that keeps growing.

VERNON, CT — Another addition to the culinary lineup at the Tri-City Plaza in Vernon is on its way to adding to the already stacked international lineup at Vernon Circle.
Building officials Thursday said the preliminary inspections are done at the new Shah's Halal, which is in the process of converting the vacancy between the GNC store and ShopRite into its latest restaurant.
Building officials said they do not have a timetable for a certificate of occupancy, but expected construction to progress rapidly.

Shah’s Halal started as a food cart in 2005 at 121st Street and Liberty Avenue in the Richmond Hill section of Queens in New York City. In 2016, it opened its first Long Island branch with the goal in mind of becoming, "the best Halal food restaurant in Long Island, NY," has been growing ever since.
Shah's will join 7 Brew Coffee, which is putting the finishing touches on its business with a drive-through concept.

At Tri-City, the two will join food establishments like ShopRite, whose food court offers a variety of styles; along with the Southwest offerings of Mo's, hot chicken at Birdcode, more chicken at Wingstop, the subs at Jersey Mike's and the Fries at Jeffersn Fry Co.
Across Kelly Road, we have Rita's for dessert, Yang Zi Jiang for Asian, Little Mark's (coming soon) for barbecue and the European flair of the Unicorn Polish Deli.
Wood-N-Tap, D'Angelo and Villa of Lebanon sit diagonally across from Tri-City.
Across Talcottville Road, we have Jamaican Kitchen, the bagels of Between Rounds, Jeff's Kettle Corn and Carvel with the the ever-popular cones and the legendary Fudgie the Whale cake.
