VERNON, CT — There has been a slight change in venue for the weekend performances of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in Vernon.

Due to an unpleasant weather forecast, Friday's performance has been moved to the Rockville High School auditorium, 70 Loveland Hill Road.

Both of Saturday's performances are still scheduled for Henry Park, 120 South Street, Vernon.

All performances are free and all are welcome.

The family-friendly, one-hour performance by Evergreen Family Theatre is designed for young people and people who may not be familiar with Shakespeare.

The revised schedule is:

  • Friday, 7 p.m., Rockville High School.
  • Saturday, 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., Henry Park.
