Task Force Breaks Up Another Drug Operation In Vernon
A regional drug task force raided a dwelling in Vernon, police said.

VERNON, CT — A regional drug task force has broken up a small drug operation in Vernon for the second time in two weeks, an arrest report shows.
At 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 29, the East Central Narcotics Task Force executed a pair of search warrants at 31 Prospect St. When searching the residence, task force members located several items and drug paraphernalia containing cocaine and crack cocaine residue, according to an arrest report.
The operation was similar to that of Sept. 17 at an apartment complex in Vernon.

Arrested was a 40-year-old Vernon man, who was charged with a second offense of possessing a controlled substance and the use of drug paraphernalia. He is due is court on Oct. 14, records show.
