Vernon Legion Hosting Armed Forces Day Cookout
VERNON, CT — The Vernon American Legion Post 14 is planning a special Armed Forces Day celebration for next week.
The event is scheduled for May 17 — on Armed Forces Day — from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Post 14 headquarters, 114 West St.
The Post 14 ladies auxiliary is inviting all families to a cookout featuring burgers and hot dogs and salads.
