Vernon's Annual Drive-Through Trunk-Or-Treat Event On Tap For Next Week
A Vernon Halloween tradition is on for next week.

VERNON, CT — One of the highlights of the Halloween season in Vernon is on tap for next week.
It's the Vernon Parks and Recreation Drive-Through Trunk-or-Treat event.
The 2025 Trunk-or-Treat is slated for Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Henry Park. It is open to Vernon residents and the first 500 children will get treats from the many town departments and organizations that line the one-way trek through the park.

Families must remain in their vehicles, stay in line and use the park's 120 South Street entrance.
"Trunk or treat is a fun event that everyone enjoys,” Mayor Dan Champagne said. "I really enjoy seeing so many happy kids, dressed in their Halloween costumes, having such a great time. I hope we have a lot of families come out."
