Vernon's Springtime Egg Hunt In Its 78th Year
It's time for the annual "spring egg hunt" in Vernon.

VERNON, CT — It's time for the annual "spring egg hunt" in Vernon. This year marks the 78th edition of the event.
The event, sponsored by the Vernon Parks and Recreation Department and Santini Villa Apartments, is staged annually at Henry Park. This year, the hunt will take place on April 16.

- 2-year-olds — 5:30 p.m. on the softball field
- Ages 3 and 4 — 6 p.m. on the softball field
- Ages 5 and 6 — 5:45 p.m. on McCoy Field
- Ages 7 and 8 — 6:15 p.m. on McCoy Field
Pre-registration is not required and participants should bring their own receptacles to collect eggs.
Dogs will not be allowed on the fields.
