Vets Day Holiday Changing Vernon Trash Schedule
Vernon trash and recycling pickups will be revised next with with Veterans Day.
VERNON, CT — The Vernon Public Works Department will be closed on Tuesday Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day.
Trash and recycling will not be collected on that day, but instead will be collected on Wednesday Nov. 12, along with that day's regular collection.
If delays occur, please keep your carts out at the curb, DPW officials said.
