Warrant: Vernon Man Possessed 900-Plus Child Porn Images
A Vernon man is in custody on a $500,000 bond in a child port case, records show.

VERNON, CT — A Vernon man remained in custody on a half-million-dollar bond Monday after his arrest last week on a major child pornography charge, police said.
He is due back in Rockville Superior Court on Nov. 7, judicial system records show.
The Vernon Police Department released details of the warrant Monday.

Danny Brock, age 61, of Vernon, was arrested following an investigation into child porn possession, police said. According to a news release, an investigation began in August in connection with a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
In September 2025, Vernon Police executed a search warrant at Brocks residence as part of the investigation, according to a case report. A forensic examination of electronic devices seized during the search located more than 900 images of "child sexual abuse material," according to a case report.

Investigators then applied for an arrest warrant, which was granted by the court. On Oct. 14, Brock was taken into custody and charged with possession of child pornography in the first degree, according to a case report.
Police said the case remains under investigation.
