CONNECTICUT — A winter weather advisory has been issued for most of Connecticut as some light ice accumulation is possible overnight and into Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service.


Inland sections of southern Connecticut: A winter weather advisory is in effect from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday. "Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations of a light glaze to a few hundredths of an inch expected for most. Locations across northern Fairfield and northern New Haven could potentially see up to a tenth of an inch."


Hartford/Tolland/Windham County: A winter weather advisory is in effect from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. "Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations, a light glaze."

Litchfield County: A winter weather advisory is in effect from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. "Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations around a light glaze to up to one tenth of an inch."
