Moving from Wallingford -- Webster Bank to Consolidate Operations

Webster Bank plans to consolidate two of its back-office operations in Cheshire and Wallingford and relocate about 500 employees to a 150,000 square foot office building in Southington.

The Waterbury-based bank announced this week that it will move into 200 Executive Blvd. in Southington, according to the New Haven Register.

The bank will move workers who handle for customer care operations, regulatory compliance and auditing from 609 W. Johnson Ave. in Cheshire and from 777 Northrop Rd. in Wallingford, according to the report.

It was not announced when the relocation will occur.
