Obituary: Alexander J. Bonomo Sr., 91, of Wallingford
Alexander, a U.S. Air Force veteran, retired from Allegheny Ludlum Steel and was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.
WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Alexander J. Bonomo Sr., of Wallingford, died February 22, 2021, peacefully at home with his loving wife of 63 years, Phyllis (Horne) Bonomo by his side.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, October 30, 1929, a son of the late Ausust and Josephine (Ercolani) Bonomo and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Allegheny Ludlum Steel.
Alexander was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and had earned a 4th degree.

In addition to his wife Phyllis, he will be missed by his sons, Alexander Bonomo Jr. of New York, Richard Bonomo of Maine, and David Bonomo of Wallingford; as well as his brother and sister-in-law Ronald and Carol Bonomo in Florida.
He was predeceased by his son Ronald.
